It’s World Photography Day today and we wanted to celebrate by showcasing what we think are some of the best photos from across the Midlands.

This photo was taken by a local photographer and videographer based in Birmingham, Ross Jukes. What a beautiful snapshot of Birmingham city taken at night.

This stunning shot was taken by Uldis Krievs – The Petographer, based in Leicestershire. Love the colours!

This photo of Edgbaston Cricket Ground was taken by Birmingham Beyond Prints Studio who specialise in aerial photography. It’s amazing what you can do with a drone.

Another great snap taken on the streets of Dudley by photographer Owen Sparks who is based in Birmingham. The striking centre of this image sets this post-industrial scene alight.

This breath-taking photo was taken by Peak District photographer Lee Howdle, on a morning at Winnats Pass in the Peak District.
What are your thoughts, and have you seen any that we may have missed?
